- This is the XTREME Dynasty League, a 12-team dynasty league on Sleeper. These bylaws exist to keep the league fair and fun for every owner, protect its long-term viability, and lay out the rules plainly enough that nobody has to guess. League settings can vary from league to league — Sleeper's own settings are the reference for accuracy, and an owner should never hesitate to ask a clarifying question.
- Lshaw01 (Lawson Shaw) is the commissioner. He commits to always acting in good faith and in the best interest of the league, and reserves the right to make judgment calls swiftly and unilaterally. The commissioner holds the ultimate authority to enact any ruling or rule.
- Once a ruling sets precedent, that precedent stands unless the league decides a vote is needed to overrule it — in which case a majority is required.
- Anything not clearly addressed here should be raised immediately, so a league-wide ruling can be made and published.

02 Dues
- Dues are due one week before the NFL draft. This lets the league begin drafting rookies whenever it's ready after the NFL draft happens.
- Missing the deadline means removal from the league and no refund. Reminders will be sent, but there is no "I forgot" grace period unless an owner has arranged something with the commissioner in advance. Paying on time is each owner's job — it isn't the commissioner's job to chase anyone down.
- No off-season roster move is allowed until next year's dues are paid. Every member is expected to stay paid up three seasons at all times: the current season plus two in advance, since picks that are years away can be traded. This protects the league's long-term viability.
- Dues are $50 per season, paid three seasons ahead. A new member owes $150 up front — the current season plus the two ahead of it — and after that everyone pays $50 each off-season to stay caught up three seasons at a time. That's what keeps someone from going all-in, selling their picks, and then bailing on the league.
- If the league ever folds, held money is always returned to its members.

03 Rosters and taxi

- 33 roster spots, no defense or kicker: QB, one Superflex spot that can start a second QB, RB×3, WR×3, TE×2, FLEX×3, and 20 bench spots.
- 4 IR spots.
- 4 taxi spots, with a two-year limit. A player in his first three years can be placed on the taxi squad. Once a player is removed from a taxi slot, he can't return to one. During the off-season, players can be moved within taxi slots freely, but the taxi squad must be set once the NFL season kicks off.

04 Scoring
The league scores PPR. Only the settings that differ from a standard league are called out here:
- Passing touchdowns are worth 6 points.
- Tight ends score 1.5 PPR — the standard 1 point per reception plus a 0.5 tight-end premium.
- Rushing and receiving first downs are each worth an extra 0.5 points. It doesn't change scoring much, but it gives running backs roughly 0.2 more points per game relative to wide receivers, and gives everyone something extra to cheer for.
5
05 Waivers and FAAB
- Waivers run daily, funded by each team's Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB).
- FAAB is $1000 per team, and resets every year.
- FAAB is tradable.
- There's no minimum or maximum bid, as long as it fits inside a team's budget.
6
06 Trades and vetoes
- The trade deadline is the day the playoffs begin.
- Trades stay closed from the start of the playoffs until a team pays for the next season in the off-season and free agency reopens.
- A veto can only be called for suspected or known collusion, or for a trade that disrupts the league's competitive balance entirely. Anyone who suspects collusion should message the commissioner immediately.
- Conditional trades are allowed — for example, trading a second-round pick for a player that becomes a first if the receiving team wins the league — but the conditions must be posted in the public chat immediately after the trade, and both sides must agree to the terms there.
- Conditional trades aren't permitted after week 12.

- The playoffs are a three-week, six-team structure running weeks 15 through 17.
- Playoffs reseed, so the top seed always plays the lowest remaining seed.
8
08 Rookie drafts
- The rookie draft is 4 rounds.
- After the startup draft, order is set by MaxPF and playoff finish. MaxPF is the inverse of the maximum total points a team's lineup could have scored across the season — a measure that removes any benefit to intentionally setting a poor lineup.
- Non-playoff teams draft in order of least MaxPF.
- Playoff teams' picks land in the inverse order of how they finished the league.
- The 5th and 6th place teams revert to their regular-season finish, based on inverse MaxPF, rather than their playoff finish.
9
09 Tanking, lineups and sportsmanship
- Tanking is intentionally not setting your best lineup to affect a match's result, and it isn't permitted. Rebuilding — selling win-now assets for youth and future assets — is allowed. The line is between a sub-optimal starting lineup given your roster (tanking, not allowed) and a sub-optimal roster itself, built to earn an earlier pick (rebuilding, allowed). Both involve intentionally losing games — one through lineup decisions, the other through roster decisions.
- MaxPF sets the non-playoff rookie draft order specifically to avoid variability and discourage setting a sub-optimal lineup.
- You can't fail to submit a starting lineup. Sometimes you sleep in or miss the news, and that's fine, but failing to field a full starting lineup when players on your bench were available more than twice carries an escalating penalty: 1st offense is a warning, 2nd offense is loss of a 2nd-round draft pick, 3rd offense is removal from the league without a refund.
- You can't make an anti-opponent trade — a bad trade with one team whose goal is to bolster that team against a specific opponent — whether to help your own draft position or to keep someone out of the playoffs.
- You can't intentionally start a lineup to score fewer points and lose on purpose. That's tanking, and the commissioner will edit the outcome of the game.
- You can't collude. There are no warnings — every party is removed without a refund.
- You're allowed to leave a roster hole. If you don't have a player at a position at all, you're permitted to have a hole in your starting lineup rather than pick one up.
- You're allowed to make conditional trades, as covered in section 06, as long as the stipulations are posted in public chat immediately after the trade and both parties agree to the terms there. Conditional trades aren't permitted after week 12.
10
10 Leaving the league
- You can leave the league at any time.
- If you find someone who will pay to take your spot, you'll receive a refund. Otherwise, you won't.
11
11 Commissioner's rights
- The commissioner can remove a league mate who verbally abuses, harasses, or bullies another league mate. This will rarely be used, and it makes the removed member ineligible for a refund.
- If the commissioner orphans his own team, another league member must step up to take over commissioner duties. If none of the league mates are willing, the league folds and everyone is refunded.
- The commissioner can fold a league containing 3 or more orphans.
- The commissioner can decline to offer a refund to anyone looking to orphan their team.
- If a bizarre act occurs — something like a game ending early, or a global pandemic creating new rules for players — the commissioner will call on the league to put forth solutions, approve 2 to 4 of them, and put them to a ranked-choice vote. That decision is final.
- The commissioner can make a final and unilateral ruling on anything not already determined in the league chat or these bylaws. A vote on a new rule going forward would begin the following off-season.
